In Friday's non-league contest, the host Manson Trojans basketball team scored a good 73-56 triumph over the Chelan Mountain Goats.

The Trojans (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Brewster (Brewster, WA). The Bears go into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Brewster was topped by Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA), 46-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mountain Goats battle the Cashmere Bulldogs (Cashmere, WA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. Chelan will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 8-1 record after their 35-31 non-league win over Wapato (Wapato, WA).
