In Friday's non-league test, the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) basketball squad trounced the host Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), by a final score of 45-21.
Next, the Rockets clash with the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 11. Goddard will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 6-2 record after their 48-42 non-league win over Gallup (Gallup, NM).
The Hilltoppers (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 3-0 record.
