Georgia High School Basketball - Liberty County can't hold off Groves

Groves Rebels (Garden City, GA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Liberty County Panthers (Hinesville, GA), 33-31 in a league match.
With the victory, Groves advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Rebels host Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA) to face the Yellow Jackets in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. The Yellow Jackets enter the match with a record of 0-1.
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Long County for a non-league match on Friday, January 24.
