With the victory, Lakewood upgrades its record to 2-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL) to face the Gladiators in a non-league match on Friday, January 24. The Gladiators enter the match with a record of 7-0.

The Seminoles now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Mooney for a non-league match on Monday, January 13. Southeast will face a Cougars squad coming off a 45-34 non-league loss to Sarasota Christian (Sarasota, FL). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.
