Northwood Gladiators (Silver Spring, MD) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD), 62-27 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Northwood advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Gladiators travel to Blair (Silver Spring, MD) to meet the Blazers in a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. The Blazers enter the match with a record of 1-0.
The Wildcats now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paint Branch for a match on Friday, January 17.
