The Pearland Oilers soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Angleton Wildcats to 0 in the Oilers non-league victory on Friday.
The Oilers now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Falls for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. Pearland will play a Knights squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Dawson (Pearland, TX). The Knights record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Angleton moves to 4-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Brazoswood (Clute, TX) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 8-0. Brazoswood won 8-1 in their recent non-league bout against Columbia (West Columbia, TX)
