Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Tennyson moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Dublin (Dublin, CA) to clash with the Gaels in a non-league test on Monday, January 13. The Gaels come into the test with a record of 1-2. Dublin lost 5-3 in their recent league test against Livermore (Livermore, CA)

The Trojans now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Eden for a West Alameda County - Shoreline test on Wednesday, January 15. Castro Valley will clash with a Monarchs team coming off a 0-0 league Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 6-3.
