With the triumph, Flour Bluff advances its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Veterans Memorial (Brownsville, TX) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league test on Friday, January 10. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 2-1. Veterans Memorial lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against United (Laredo, TX)

The Pirates now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jones for a 4A Region 4 District 29 test on Tuesday, January 14. Rockport-Fulton will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 1-1 non-league Alice (Alice, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 3-2.
