Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Taylor County Bulldogs (Perry, FL) and the host Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL), saw Taylor County's soccer squad hold off Lafayette by a count of 3-2.
The Bulldogs (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Jefferson County (Monticello, FL). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 1-11 record.
Next up, the Hornets battle the Williston Red Devils (Williston, FL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, January 14. Lafayette will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Red Devils enter the battle with a 9-4 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Dixie County (Cross City, FL).
