Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Prescott Badgers (Prescott, AZ), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Salpointe Catholic moves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Rincon/University (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Rangers in a non-league test on Friday, January 17. The Rangers come into the test with a record of 5-4.
The Badgers now sport a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mingus for a 4A Grand Canyon test on Wednesday, January 15. Prescott will clash with a Marauders team coming off a 2-2 non-league Scottsdale Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ). The Marauders record now stands at 2-6.
