    • Kansas High School Basketball - Andover nipped by Maize

    January 11, 2022: Andover, KS 67002

    The Maize Eagles tipped the host Andover Trojans basketball team by a final score of 44-40 in Tuesday's non-league game.

    In their next game, the Eagles face the Life Prep Fire (Wichita, KS) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 14. Maize will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Fire enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 75-29 non-league win over Reno County HomeSchool (Hutchinson, KS).

    With the defeat, Andover moves to 7-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to Central (Andover, KS) to face the Jaguars in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II game on Friday, January 14. The Jaguars enter the game with a record of 7-0. Central won 60-36 in their recent league game against Arkansas City (Arkansas City, KS)
