The Mustangs now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kalamazoo Central for a Southwestern Michigan - East battle on Thursday, January 13. Portage Central will battle a Maroon Giants team coming off a 60-49 league win over Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI). The Maroon Giants record now stands at 3-4.

The Knights (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Central (Battle Creek, MI). The Bearcats come into the Southwestern Michigan - East battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Central beat Mattawan (Mattawan, MI), 72-50, in a league battle.
