The Saginaw Trojans basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Powers Catholic Chargers to 50 in the Trojans league victory on Tuesday.
The Trojans now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arthur Hill for a Saginaw Valley contest on Saturday, January 15. Saginaw will battle a Lumberjacks team coming off a 65-50 league loss to Grand Blanc (Grand Blanc, MI). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 3-2.
The Chargers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Oilers come into the Saginaw Valley contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Mt. Pleasant prevailed over Cadillac (Cadillac, MI), 55-54, in a non-league contest.
