The Central Plains Oilers basketball team (Claflin, KS), dropped 51-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Sterling Black Bears (Sterling, KS)
The Black Bears now possess a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berean Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, January 14. Sterling will confront a Warriors team coming off a 49-20 non-league win over Sedgwick (Sedgwick, KS). The Warriors record now stands at 9-0.
The Oilers (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Victoria (Victoria, KS). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Victoria beat Stockton (Stockton, KS), 54-42, in a non-league battle.
