The South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA) basketball crushed the host Humboldt Wildcats (Humboldt, IA), 63-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Titans (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA). The Warriors go into the Twin Lakes test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Alta-Aurelia was trounced by Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA), 39-33, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS for a non-league test on Thursday, January 13. Humboldt will encounter a squad coming off a 65-27 non-league loss to Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA). The record now stands at 4-6.
