The Takoma Academy Tigers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Archbishop Carroll Lions to 42 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calverton for a Maryland Independent contest on Thursday, January 12.

The Lions (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Legacy School of Sport Sciences (Spring, TX). The Titans come into the non-league contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Legacy School of Sport Sciences dropped by KIPP Houston (Houston, TX), 58-51, in a non-league contest.
