The Central Wildcats (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA), 68-36 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (5-4) will now prepare for their test against St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, St. Martinville walloped Erath (Erath, LA), 72-41, in a league test.
The Mustangs now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Brusly for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Assumption will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 55-42 non-league loss to Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-3.
