In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Norwell Clippers (Norwell, MA) basketball squad edged the host Cape Cod Academy Seahawks (Osterville, MA), by a count of 44-39.
The Clippers (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Abington (Abington, MA). The Green Wave go into the South Shore outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Abington held off Hull (Hull, MA), 62-35, in a league outing.
The Seahawks now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Monomoy for a Cape & Islands - Meritime outing on Tuesday, January 17. Cape Cod Academy will clash with a Sharks squad coming off a 48-36 non-league win over Mashpee (Mashpee, MA). The Sharks record now stands at 5-5.
