Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Clarion edges Cranberry Area

The North Clarion Wolves (Tionesta, PA) basketball nipped the host Cranberry Area Berries (Seneca, PA), 71-64 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Wolves (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA). The Bulldogs go into the Keystone Shortway - Large test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Redbank Valley got by Allegheny-Clarion Valley (Foxburg, PA), 65-56, in a non-league test.
The Berries now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Union for a non-league test on Thursday, January 12. Cranberry Area will encounter a Knights/Damsels squad coming off a 63-54 non-league loss to Moniteau (West Sunbury, PA). The Knights/Damsels record now stands at 6-4.
