Eastern Christian Eagles (North Haledon, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wallington Panthers (Wallington, NJ), 73-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Eastern Christian upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Harrison (Harrison, NJ) to play the Blue Tide in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Blue Tide come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Harrison lost 50-22 in their recent non-league bout against Park Ridge (Park Ridge, NJ)

Next up, the Panthers play the Manchester Regional Falcons (Haledon, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Wallington will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 50-48 non-league win over Ridgefield Memorial (Ridgefield, NJ).
