The Maroons come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Menominee won 76-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Gibraltar (Fish Creek, WI)

Next up, the Hematites confront the Negaunee Miners (Negaunee, MI) in a Mid-Peninsula challenge, on Friday, January 13. Ishpeming will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Miners come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 65-36 league win over Calumet (Calumet, MI).
