The Shalhevet Firehawks basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Milken Wildcats to 49 in the Firehawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Firehawks now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Compton Early College for a Mulholland contest on Thursday, January 12. Shalhevet will battle a Rising Phoenix team coming off a 59-49 non-league win over New West Charter (Los Angeles, CA). The Rising Phoenix record now stands at 6-6.

The Wildcats (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA). The Hunters enter the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Canoga Park was defeated by Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA), 66-38, in a league contest.
