The Northwest Area Rangers basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Montgomery Red Raiders to 13 in the Rangers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Rangers now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montgomery for a Midd-Penn contest on Wednesday, January 11. Northwest Area will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 52-38 non-league loss to Line Mountain (Herndon, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 4-6.

The Red Raiders (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest Area (Shickshinny, PA). The Rangers enter the Midd-Penn match with a 11-1 record. In their last match, Northwest Area crushed Columbia Montour Vo-Tech (Bloomsburg, PA), 65-6, in a league match.
