In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Weaver Beavers basketball team scored a decisive 68-28 triumph over the Parish Hill Pirates.
In their next game, the Beavers meet the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens (New Britain, CT) in a Capitol Region match, on Friday, January 13. Weaver will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Ravens enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 58-55 league win over Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT).
With the defeat, Parish Hill moves to 0-8 on the year. The Pirates travel to Capital Prep (Hartford, CT) to meet the Trailblazers in a Capitol Region match on Tuesday, January 17. The Trailblazers enter the match with a record of 3-3. Capital Prep lost 62-37 in their recent league match against Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy (Hartford, CT)
