The Academy at Palumbo Griffin basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Philadelphia Academy Charter Chargers to 30 in the Griffin league victory on Wednesday.
The Griffin now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Motivation for a Philadelphia Public - National contest on Wednesday, January 18. Academy at Palumbo will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 31-24 league loss to Abraham Lincoln (Philadelphia, PA). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-6.
The Chargers (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sankofa Freedom Academy (Philadelphia, PA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Sankofa Freedom Academy was defeated by Philadelphia High School for Girls (Philadelphia, PA), 34-27, in a league contest.
