The Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE) basketball felled the host Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles (Newark, DE), 56-37 in Wednesday's league test.

The Jaguars (5-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE). The Hawks go into the Blue Hen Flight - A test with a 4-1 record.

The Eagles now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Delcastle Technical for a Blue Hen Flight - A test on Friday, January 13. Hodgson Vo-Tech will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 47-43 league loss to Mount Pleasant (Wilmington, DE). The Cougars record now stands at 2-7.
