The Calvert Cavaliers (Prince Frederick, MD) basketball crushed the visiting Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), 56-20 in Wednesday's league test.
The Cavaliers (8-2) will now prepare for their test against North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Eagles go into the Southern Maryland test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, North Point was trounced by St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 69-41, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Leonardtown for a Southern Maryland test on Friday, January 13. Thomas Stone will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 54-45 league loss to Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Raiders record now stands at 5-4.
