Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA), 54-35 in a league bout.
With the victory, Westmont Hilltop upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA) to play the Panthers in a Laurel Highlands bout on Friday, January 13. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 3-7.
Next up, the Dragons play the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Friday, January 13. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Crushers come into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 59-42 league win over Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA).
