J.F. Webb Warriors (Oxford, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Henderson Collegiate Pride (Henderson, NC), 1-0 in a non-league bout.

With the win, J.F. Webb upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Warriors travel to South Granville (Creedmoor, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a 2A/3A Conference 18 bout on Friday, January 13. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-12. South Granville lost 50-29 in their recent league bout against Vance County (Henderson, NC)

Next up, the Pride clash with the Piedmont Classical Bobcats (Browns Summit, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Henderson Collegiate will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
