The High Point Wildcats (Sussex, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ), 31-23 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Wallkill Valley (Hamburg, NJ). The Rangers go into the Northwest Jersey - Freedom test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Wallkill Valley notched a victory over Hopatcong (Hopatcong, NJ), 50-28, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Hopatcong for a Northwest Jersey - Colonial test on Thursday, January 12. Vernon will encounter a Chiefs squad coming off a 50-28 non-league loss to Wallkill Valley (Hamburg, NJ). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-5.
