In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Park Ridge Owls (Park Ridge, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ), by a count of 36-32.
The Owls (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Dwight-Englewood (Englewood, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Dwight-Englewood held off Saddle Brook (Saddle Brook, NJ), 52-30, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Glen Rock for a Northwest Jersey - Colonial outing on Friday, January 13. Rutherford will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 58-25 non-league loss to Immaculate Conception (Lodi, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 7-3.
