Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Hotchkiss School holds off Avon Old Farms

The Hotchkiss School Bearcats edged the visiting Avon Old Farms Beavers ice hockey squad by a tally of 4-3 in Wednesday's league bout.
With the victory, Hotchkiss School betters its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, CT) to confront the Pelicans in a bout on Saturday, January 14. The Pelicans go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Loomis Chaffee School lost 4-1 in their recent league bout against Deerfield Academy (Deerfield, MA)
The Beavers now have a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kent School for a match on Saturday, January 14. Avon Old Farms will encounter a Lions team coming off a 9-6 league win over Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY). The Lions record now stands at 8-4.
