The Cibola Cougars basketball team (Albuquerque, NM), was nudged 70-65 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM)
The Golden Eagles now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Volcano Vista for a non-league battle on Friday, January 13. Eldorado will battle a Hawks team coming off a 44-36 non-league win over St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 7-2.
The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, La Cueva edged Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 51-41, in a non-league battle.
