Florida High School Basketball - George Jenkins knocked off by Lake Wales

The Lake Wales Highlanders basketball team scored 49 points and held the host George Jenkins Eagles to 32 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Highlanders now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Auburndale for a contest on Friday, January 13. Lake Wales will battle a Bloodhounds team coming off a 48-34 non-league win over Bartow (Bartow, FL). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 8-2.

The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ridge Community (Davenport, FL). The Bolts enter the contest with a 10-2 record.
