The Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers (Canisteo, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Addison Knights (Addison, NY), 66-40 in Thursday's league test.

The Chargers (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Avoca Central (Avoca, NY). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record.

The Knights now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Jasper-Troupsburg for a Section 5 Steuben 2 test on Wednesday, January 17. Addison will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 52-27 non-league win over Edison (Elmira Heights, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-7.
