The Andrews Wildcats basketball team (Andrews, NC), was nudged 63-60 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA)

The Rebels now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union County for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 13. Fannin County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 80-79 league loss to East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 14-3.

The Wildcats (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Hiwassee Dam was nudged by Hayesville (Hayesville, NC), 67-54, in a non-league battle.
