    The Bishop Ryan Lions basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the host Velva Aggies to 55 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.

    The Lions now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Our Redeemer's Christian for a B District 8 contest on Monday, January 15. Bishop Ryan will battle a Knights team coming off a 68-55 non-league win over Harvey (Harvey, ND). The Knights record now stands at 7-3.

    The Aggies (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Glenburn (Glenburn, ND). The Panther come into the B District 8 contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Glenburn was nudged by Surrey (Surrey, ND), 51-31, in a league contest.
