The Cheboygan Chiefs topped the visiting Rogers City Hurons basketball team by a final score of 62-47 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Chiefs face the Rudyard Bulldogs (Rudyard, MI) in a Eastern Upper Peninsula game, on Tuesday, January 16. Cheboygan will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record.

With the defeat, Rogers City moves to 1-7 on the year. The Hurons host Mio-Au Sable (Mio, MI) to face the Thunderbolts in a North Star game on Monday, January 15. The Thunderbolts enter the game with a record of 4-4.
