Kealakehe Waveriders (Kailua-Kona, HI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Christian Liberty Academy Canefire (Kea'au, HI), 66-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Kealakehe upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Waveriders host Waiakea (Hilo, HI) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Waiakea lost 61-52 in their recent league bout against Konawaena (Kealakekua, HI)

Next up, the Canefire clash with the Kea'au Cougars (Kea'au, HI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Christian Liberty Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
