Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons (Tyngsborough, MA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fenway Panthers (Boston, MA), 55-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Greater Lowell Tech upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Gryphons travel to Shawsheen Valley Tech (Billerica, MA) to clash with the Rams in a Commonwealth - Upper bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-3.
Next up, the Panthers clash with the Green Academy (Brighton, MA) in a Freelance bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Fenway will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
