The North Central Jets basketball team (Powers, MI), was nudged 46-42 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Florence Bobcats (Florence, WI)
The Bobcats now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elcho for a Northern Lakes battle on Tuesday, January 16. Florence will battle a Hornets team coming off a 58-45 league loss to Crandon (Crandon, WI). The Hornets record now stands at 3-12.
The Jets (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Rapid River (Rapid River, MI). The Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Rapid River edged Big Bay de Noc (Cooks, MI), 60-56, in a non-league battle.
