Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wall Township Crimson Knights (Wall, NJ), 51-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Matawan Regional upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Huskies travel to Middletown South (Middletown, NJ) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Middletown South lost 61-43 in their recent non-league bout against Marlboro (Marlboro, NJ)

Next up, the Crimson Knights clash with the Holmdel Hornets (Holmdel, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Wall Township will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 70-46 non-league win over Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ).
