The Washington Leadership Academy basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Maya Angelou Public Charter to 12 in the league triumph on Thursday.
The now hold a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Digital Pioneers Academy for a PCSAA A challenge on Friday, January 12. Washington Leadership Academy will play a Pythons squad coming off a 64-45 league win over E.L. Haynes (Washington, DC). The Pythons record now stands at 5-4.
