The Nashua-Plainfield Huskies basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Postville Pirates to 65 in the Huskies non-league victory on Thursday.

The Huskies now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwood-Kensett for a Corn Bowl contest on Friday, January 12. Nashua-Plainfield will battle a Vikings team coming off a 56-55 non-league loss to Riceville (Riceville, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-8.

The Pirates (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA). The Bulldogs come into the Upper Iowa contest with a 9-3 record.
