Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA) and the visiting Williams Valley Vikings (Tower City, PA), saw Nativity BVM's basketball squad overcome Williams Valley by a tally of 76-65.

With the victory, Nativity BVM improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Green Wave travel to Minersville (Minersville, PA) to play the Battlin' Miners in a Schuylkill County 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Battlin' Miners come into the challenge with a record of 9-5.

Next up, the Vikings play the New Covenant Christian Flames (Lebanon, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Williams Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Flames come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 53-41 league win over Covenant Christian Academy (Harrisburg, PA).
