Florida High School Basketball - River Ridge knocked off by Nature Coast Tech

The Nature Coast Tech Sharks basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights to 31 in the Sharks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Sharks now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crystal River for a 4A District 9 contest on Friday, January 12. Nature Coast Tech will meet a Pirates team coming off a 52-43 non-league win over Tavares (Tavares, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 6-8.

The Royal Knights (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Mitchell was outscored by East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL), 78-47, in a non-league contest.
