The Tipton Tigers basketball team (Tipton, IA), was overwhelmed 61-37 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Northeast Rebels (Goose Lake, IA)
The Rebels now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camanche for a River Valley battle on Friday, January 12. Northeast will battle a Indians team coming off a 70-43 non-league win over Woodward Academy (Woodward, IA). The Indians record now stands at 3-6.
The Tigers (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mid-Prairie (Wellman, IA). The Golden Hawks come into the River Valley battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Mid-Prairie was overwhelmed by Regina (Iowa City, IA), 69-52, in a league battle.
