Florida High School Basketball - Union County can't hold off Trenton

The Trenton Tigers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Union County Fightin' Tigers to 48 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chiefland for a 1A District 7 contest on Tuesday, January 16. Trenton will battle a Indians team coming off a 55-47 non-league loss to Hawthorne (Hawthorne, FL). The Indians record now stands at 6-6.

The Fightin' Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Baker County (Glen St. Mary, FL). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Baker County was nudged by Camden County (Kingsland, GA), 73-21, in a non-league contest.
