College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA), 46-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, College Park upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Campolindo (Moraga, CA) to play the Cougars in a bout on Saturday, January 13. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Heritage Patriots (Brentwood, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 12. Deer Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 50-32 league win over Antioch (Antioch, CA).
