North Carolina High School Basketball - Ascend Leadership ripped by Riverside Christian Academy

January 11, 2024: Sanford, NC 27332

The Riverside Christian Academy Royals basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Ascend Leadership Aviators to 2 in the Royals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Royals now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Forest for a 3A/4A All-American contest on Saturday, January 13. Riverside Christian Academy will battle a Trojans team coming off a 50-43 league win over Triton (Erwin, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 6-6.

The Aviators (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wolves enter the 1A Central Tar Heel contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Woods Charter was routed by Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC), 54-40, in a league contest.
